Obstacle Course
The obstacle course may include weaving through poles, racing around barrels, and crossing over a bridge. A two second penalty is incurred for each missed obstacle.

Ranch Sorting, and Open Arena Sorting
During these events each cow is numbered and the time starts when the announcer calls out the first number to be cut out of the herd. If a cow crosses into the capture area out of order the attempt is over and no time is scored.
